Free online training workshops are available for not-for-profit organisations, individuals and artists responsible for securing funding and submitting funding applications.

The sessions cover the basics of how to raise money for projects and are delivered by Isabel White, Director of Advice2Go.

They will be delivered weekly in October as part of the Discussion Festival: an online event series.

The four-module programme is aimed at small, not-for-profit organisations, individuals and artists, and topics include: understanding what motivates funders, why we often fail as fundraisers and how to avoid pitfalls.

The programme also focuses particularly on the Arts Council, and, if there is enough interest in certain topics, there may be further opportunities for discussion during November.

The sessions can be joined at Table 6 each Tuesday, starting from 5 October at the online Discussion Festival.
