REaD Group & Blackbaud partner on automated data cleansing solution for non-profits
Data and insight company REaD Group has partnered with Blackbaud to integrate its REaDConnect API solution into Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT cloud-based fundraising and donor management software solution to create Automated Data Cleansing (ADC).
Raiser’s Edge NXT users will receive automated monthly cleansing of their database using REaD Group‘s ADC solution, screening for goneaways and deceased individuals and providing relocation details for customers who have moved.
REaD Group’s ADC solution will automatically screen and cleanse a Raiser’s Edge NXT customer database in less than an hour. Data is transferred via API with full encryption during transit and the import of data back into the database is taken care of in an end-to-end process. ADC uses the Bereavement Register, and the Goneaway Suppression File to identify deceased and moved individuals.

Jon Cano-Lopez, CEO of REaD Group, said:
“Blackbaud understands the challenges faced by Raiser’s Edge NXT customers when it comes to cleansing data. Now all non-profits have access to a solution that will automatically cleanse their database every month, meaning they never need to worry about it again.”
Pascale Harvie, President & General Manager of Blackbaud Europe added:
“We are very pleased to be able to offer Raiser’s Edge NXT users a way to keep their data current and compliant via our partnership with REaD Group. Automating a data cleanse of their customer database on a monthly basis means that our non-profit and social good customers can be confident of improving their communications activities while avoiding wasting resources.”
The ADC solution is charged on a subscription basis: there is no charge for updates or for identification of deceased, goneaways or relocation, and a one-off fee covers a 12-month period.
