The National Lottery Community Fund has announced details of its consultation on the distribution of the Dormant Accounts Fund in Northern Ireland.

The Fund will be used to increase capacity, resilience and sustainability in the Northern Ireland voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, and is completely separate from National Lottery funds. The Fund aims to open in early 2020.

Dormant account money should not be used to fund projects that would normally attract statutory funding. Potential delivery models include an investment loan model for more established organisations, a grant/loan hybrid model, or a more traditional grant model to support grassroots community organisations.
