Community Doundation for Ireland announces grant timetable

The Community Foundation for Ireland has released details of its grant giving timetable for 2018.
The Foundation administers grants from a wide range of corporate and individual sources. The timetable refers to funds from its own endowment. Criteria for each grant programme is available on the Foundation’s website.
The timetable for grants in 2018 is:

- Communicating your Impact small Grant Round for annual reports: Open from 1st February with no closure date
- Older Persons Grant Round for active citizenship and advocacy: Open 5th March and closing 12th April
- Women’s Fund Grant Round: Open 26th March and closing 30th April
- Social Change – Mental health + Travellers: Open 3rd August and closing 28th September
- Social Change – Mental health + domestic violence: Open 3rd August and closing 28th September
- Social Change – Mental health + refugees: Open 3rd August and closing 28th September
The Community Foundation for Ireland focuses on supporting grassroots community groups working in their local community, as well as national organisations working on various issues.
In 2016, grants exceeding €5.7 million, including grants from designated funds, were made in support of community groups and charitable organisations in Ireland.
