Fundraisers network set up in Ireland
Over 50 people joined a new fundraising network in Ireland within just 24 hours of the project being launched.
The Irish Fundraisers’ Network has just launched a new website, with the stated goal of helping the community of fundraisers in Ireland find each other and build a network where they can seek advice, share experiences and become better fundraisers.
Kevin Delaney, professional fundraiser and project coordinator, said: “The fundraisers in my own personal network have been invaluable throughout my career and they have provided inspiration and motivation, confidence and reassurance.”

He added: “It is a huge benefit for anybody to have experts in their own field whom they trust to be honest to bounce ideas off.”
The Network hopes to run networking events approximately once every two months in Dublin and, if there is interest and logistical support, will create a similar series in other fundraising hot spots around the country.
The Network is committed to:
- Bi-monthly networking events
- Providing workshops and activities to help the individual fundraiser to grow their career
- Exploring the interest in peer to peer mentoring
- Listening to members to find out what else they want
