Teletubbies support for 20th Barnardo’s Big Toddle

Barnardo’s Big Toddle celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and will be supported by the Teletubbies, which is also marks 20 years in 2017.
Last year’s event saw nurseries, playgroups and toddlers across the UK raise £588,376 in an animal themed Big Toddle, which asked children to walk half a mile to raise funds. Since 1997, the Big Toddle has raised £14.5 million.
Nurseries and parents are currently invited to sign up to take part in this year’s Big Toddle, which runs from 19th – 25th June 2017 with the theme of colours. The Big Toddle has also launched a new website for this year.

Barnardo’s chief executive, Javed Khan, said:
“Last year the event raised almost £600,000 which is helping to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children in the UK. I am excited Barnardo’s has teamed up with the Teletubbies, some of the most popular characters in TV history, for this year’s event. Both will be celebrating their 20th anniversary so it promises to be a fantastic party.”
