Edge Fund is open for its first funding round of the year, with £40,000 available for grassroots groups campaigning against systems that cause injustice.
Edge Fund will support around 30 groups in this funding round, which is open for applications until 11.30pm on 17th April. It supports work carried out by individuals and grassroots groups in the UK that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere, specifically activity that challenges abuses of power and aims to change society by ending systems that cause injustice.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available, and will be awarded to successful applicants in July, and information on the criteria for applying is on its site.
Edge Fund is also seeking donations to help it continue to offer its grants. The Fund is financed by supporters giving monthly or one-off donations, and launches a new funding round when it has enough money to finance it.
