Charity leadership conference to be held in Dublin

Charities Institute Ireland, formerly Fundraising Ireland and the Charities Tax Reform Group, is holding a conference this week on the ‘leadership challenge.’
Charities Institute Ireland (CII) says that in all areas of society, from the political establishment to the mainstream media, people are turning away from traditional sources of authority and leadership and this has serious implications for the charity sector also.
The response is trust, transparency and impact driven missions for the leading modern charities, according to CII.

The Leadership Conference takes place on Thursday, January 19, at the Irish Film Centre, 6 Eustace Street, Dublin 2. The cost is €120. It will cover all of the latest global research, expertise and emerging insights that are transforming and reshaping the charities landscape, according to the organisers.
The conference modules and speakers include:
- Belief is more powerful than trust – Alan Clayton (Revolutionise FAB)
- Getting naked with data – Linda Ni Chualladh (Data protection lawyer)
- Breaking silos and connecting people – Dan Rockwell (The Leadership Freak)
Kingsley Aikins (Diaspora Matters) will be host throughout this interactive morning designed to inspire and provide practical tools for success.
