Howard Lake | 9 August 2016 | News

Fashion retailer H&M has raised over £3 million for the British Red Cross over the last five years by donating over 900,000 items of clothing and accessories which have been sold in the charity’s 350 shops across the UK.
The donated items are de-tagged and unbranded before being sold in the charity’s shops.
British Red Cross Director of Retail Paul Thompson said:

“A huge thank you to H&M in supporting us during this longstanding relationship that has helped generate over £3 million through our shops across the country. These vital funds will go towards helping people in crisis in the UK and abroad. Through the generosity of H&M, we have been able to provide our customers with an even broader choice of fashion and on-trend items.”
