JustGiving Awards 2016

The deadline to vote for this year’s JustGiving fundraiser awards is fast approaching with entries closing this Sunday 7th August.
Anyone who has used JustGiving to fundraise or crowdfund can be put forward in recognition for their work for good causes, with fundraisers recognised for everything from creativity to endurance.
Nominations must be made online at www.justgiving.com/awards/2016/.

Awards last year included Outstanding Commitment to Fundraising, won by Alex Smith, who does Ironman Endurance events whilst carrying his son to raise funds for their charity Harrison’s Fund, which aims to eradicate Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Kindness Crowdfunder of the Year, won by Wayne Botting who raised over £8,000 towards the purchase of a new wheelchair for a 12-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy, and Young Fundraiser of the Year, won by Madison Glinski, who busks and runs charity auctions to raise funds for Little Harbour Children’s Hospice.
