1) Wegiveit
Wegiveit has launched: a disruptive fundraising platform that integrates with social networks to let people support charitable causes by watching sponsors’ ads and donating their viewing time. The platform plays video advertising based on an individual’s personal charity preferences. The user chooses their charitable cause from wegiveit’s charity partners and watches the sponsor’s video in the wegiveit app to create a donation.
2) GivGo
Givergy has launched an online auction platform aimed at advancing corporate fundraising and CSR initiatives. GivGo allows UK corporates and their foundations to maximise unused corporate hospitality or half-full corporate boxes by auctioning tickets and experiences through online auctions or prize draws. Bidding is limited to the company’s own employee base. Users can login to the site, browse for live sporting and cultural event experience and place their bid against the clock, with 100 percent of the profit generated going directly to charity.

3) K3 Retail & Barron McCann
K3 Retail and Barron McCann Group have partnered to provide charity retailers with new Gift Aid opportunities. K3 Retail, Barron McCann and BMc Azurri (part of Barron McCann Group) will provide charity retailers with a fully managed and cloud enabled Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution, which will allow charity retailers of all sizes and types to replace their old legacy systems with new, fit for purpose, up-to-date solutions with volunteer friendly systems.
4) GivePenny
GivePenny has announced that it is offering its platform and donation processing services for free to charities and fundraisers. The online giving platform allows fundraisers to directly link donations to activity tracked in apps like Fitbit, Runkeeper and Facebook. Charities can register on the Givepenny site.

5) Technogym
Official fitness equipment supplier for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Technogym is using its mobile app to help raise funds to buy equipment for gyms in disadvantaged areas of Rio. Technogym launched its “Let’s Move for Rio” social campaign on 24th July, which aims to donate part of the equipment provided to the Olympic training facilities to the gyms. Through the Technogym digital platform Mywellness cloud, during the Olympics, athletes and wellness enthusiasts will be able to measure their physical exercise – both on the equipment and on the free Technogym mobile app – and transform it into equipment that Technogym will donate to 22 public gyms in Rio’s most disadvantaged communities.
