The Grand Appeal raises over £200k from The Entertainer’s microdonations

Customers of high street toy retailer The Entertainer have in the past five years raised over £200,000 for The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. The sum has been raised by top-up donations, each of them no more than 99p, in partnership with Pennies, “the digital charity box”.
So far the toy shop’s customers have donated £218,674.03 to The Grand Appeal.
Helen Haskell, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Grand Appeal, said:

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to The Entertainer’s customers for their incredible generosity. The many thousands of little donations made by rounding up their purchases have added up to a truly fantastic total”.
