Found Thom Yorke lyrics to be auctioned for Oxfam

Melanie May | 23 February 2016 | News

Original draft lyrics to Radiohead’s Airbag handwritten by Thom Yorke are to be auctioned on behalf of Oxfam by Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions on 18th March.
The lyrics were discovered on the inside cover of Yorke’s copy of William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and Experience, which he donated to an Oxfam bookshop in St Giles in Oxford. Volunteer Andrew Chapman spotted the handwritten lyrics in the Blake book after Yorke had given it to the shop.
Throughout the book Yorke underlines words and annotated the margins, particularly to Nurse’s Song, A Cradle Song and The Divine Image, with corrections and revisions.
The donation also made it into a recent Guardian top five charity shop finds.
