Celebs get cooking for Great British Brekkie

Judi Dench, Freddie Flintoff, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Sandi Toksvig and Bill Oddie are among the celebrities supporting this year’s Winston’s Wish Great British Brekkie.
The campaign is now in its fourth year, and runs from the 8th to the 14th of February. It encourages families, friends, work colleagues, school children and teachers to host a charity breakfast to help raise funds to aid the charity’s work in supporting bereaved children across the UK.
The campaign also sees a range of celebrities from sporting heroes to celebrity chefs and TV and radio presenters share their favourite breakfasts in a series of short films on the charity’s YouTube page.
Breakfasts include Judi Dench’s kedgeree, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s eggy bread, and Freddie Flintoff’s Full English:

Potential breakfast hosts can visit the Great British Brekkie website to view sample recipes, supporters’ photos and videos, an interactive ‘brekkie’ map and to sign up online to host their own event.
Lucy French, Great British Brekkie coordinator, said:

“It’s great to see the campaign continuing to grow. I’m always taken aback by the enthusiasm and the creativity of our breakfast hosts and volunteers. Every single penny raised will make a life-changing difference to bereaved children, young people and their families”.
