New funding for arts and cultural fundraising network events in England

Howard Lake | 14 July 2015 | News

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy is offering funding to help encourage and support networks, collaboration and group learning in fundraising across England in the arts and cultural sector.
The organisation, which runs arts fundraising training and online workshops, supports fundraisers through its Fellows programme, and runs a summer school, is keen to help develop the many informal and formal groups and networks that already exist.
“We want to support groups or networks to arrange their own fundraising training event, conference, seminar or introductory meeting”, it announced today.
It is therefore offering to pay some of the associated costs that arise from organising these events. This could include paying for participants’ travel costs, venue hire, catering, fees for speakers/guests, or any other relevant expenditure. It will pay costs up to a maximum of £1,500 for any single event.
Applications for this funding from arts and culture groups of fundraisers in England can be submitted until 12pm on 31 July 2015.
Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy is researching a list of all these formal and informal groups which it will publish shortly.
