Tesco bouquet sales raise £45k for Diabetes UK

Howard Lake | 28 July 2014 | News

Sales of a charity bouquet of flowers at Tesco have raised more than £45,000 for Diabetes UK, the supermarket’s national charity partner.

The £10 bouquet includes orange roses and gerberas, pink carnations, purple statice and white chrysanthemums. Tesco donated 50p from the sale of each bouquet, and these contribute to the £18 million target that Tesco hopes to raise for Diabetes UK.

It is on sale at Tesco Superstores and Tesco Extras throughout the UK. It will raise more funds as it will be on sale throughout the charity partnership.
