Howard Lake | 7 July 2014 | News

The King’s Fund has announced that the 2015 GSK IMPACT Awards are now open for applications. The Awards are designed to reward charities that “are doing excellent work to improve people’s health”.
The winners will receive core funding, training and national recognition.
Up to 20 awards will be made ranging from £3,000 to £40,000. In addition, award winners will receive free training valued at up to £6,000. They will also have a film made about their work, receive help with publicity and promotion, and be given a set of promotional materials.

Which charities are eligible?

To apply for the GSK IMPACT Awards, charities must work in a health-related field in the UK, be at least three years old, and have an annual income of between £25,000 and £2 million.
There is no need to present a new project in the application: entrants will be judged on what they have already achieved.
The closing date for applications to the GSK IMPACT Awards 2015 is 19 September 2014.
