International conference bursary offered to prospect researchers

The Researchers in Fundraising group are again offering one member of the UK prospect research community the opportunity to attend this year’s annual conference run by APRA, the international organisation for fundraisers who specialise in research and information management.
This year’s APRA conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from 30 July to 2 August 2014.
The bursary will contribute £1,500 towards the registration, travel and accommodation costs of the conference. Any further costs will be the responsibility of the winner. The bursary is designed to help develop the prospect research community.
Bursaries are open to applicants from all organisations across the UK non-profit sector, regardless of their organisation’s cause. Applicants need not be a member of the Institute of Fundraising or other bodies.
The deadline for applications for the RiF Bursary is 14 April 2014. The winner will be announced on 21 April.
