Who would be on your Fantasy Charity Board?

Howard Lake | 21 October 2013 | News

Fantasy Charity Board is a new game for UK charity staff, inviting them to submit their list of 11 names that in a perfect world they would have on their charity’s board of trustees.
Created by Mark Atkinson of VCSchange, each proposed Board will be pitted against the other entries. The winning board will be promoted nationally. Atkinson hopes that the light-hearted approach will help to promote thinking about Board make-up and charity governance.
Part of the game includes a short survey which is designed to shed some light on the world of trustee recruitment, induction and engagement.
There are prizes on offer for the winner, from VCSchange, the Institute of Fundraising, campaigning specialists The Pressure Group, and Affinity Marketing Ltd.
Fantasy Charity Board opens for play from 9am on 21 October and will run till 5pm on 15 November.
