The Gift Aid Guide published in Charity First Series

The Charity First Series has published a new title offering advice on how to manage and maximise Gift Aid.

The Gift Aid Guide – Rules Relating to Charity Donations by Individuals provides an overview of current Gift Aid legislation, together with practical ./guidance for charities who submit claims to HMRC.  It has been written by transaction tax specialist Graham Elliott of Withers LLP.

Gift Aid is worth over £1 billion a year to UK charities, “the equivalent to an extra £16 donation from every man, woman and child in the UK” say the publishers.
