Getting Started with TikTok: An Introduction to Fundraising & Supporter Engagement

Rural charities in North Yorkshire offered

Howard Lake | 9 July 2013 | News

Localgiving.com, the online giving platform for small charities and local community groups, will this month run a £12,000 match giving campaign for rural charities in North Yorkshire. The funding is part of a grant from the Peter Sowerby Foundation to benefit rural charities.

The campaign will run from 16 to 31 July 2013, or until the £12,000 sum has all been allocated. Localgiving.com will double monthly donations up to £20 a month for six months, adding an extra £120 to the total received by the charity.  Single donations will be doubled pound for pound up to £20.  Of course, Gift Aid adds even more, turning a single £20 donation into £45.

Localgiving.com charges a small commission and handling fee on all transactions.

Charities that take part in the North Yorkshire Match Fund campaign are being encouraged to promote it: those that attract three or more monthly donations will be entered into a draw to win £500.
