YouTube Nonprofits – new useful tools overview
Now that you have signed up for free to YouTube’s Nonprofit programme, what can you do?
Here are some suggestions of how to use the free tools:
- Call-to-action overlays: video overlays that can be used to raise donations, enlist volunteers, drive viewers to a petition or promote a fundraising event and more.
- Annotations: allow you to layer text in a hotspot on your video, offering further information. They can link to other YouTube videos, YouTube channels or other websites, and can be used to link to your social media presences, drive subscriptions or promote other fundraising activities.
- Google Wallet Donate Button: you can ask for donations right from your YouTube videos
