EasyJet passengers donate £215,290 to UNICEF

Passengers on easyJet have donated £215,290 in just six weeks for UNICEF’s emergency appeal for the children in Syria. Collections were made on its Europe-wide network of over 1,000 daily flights from 1 February to 15 March.

They were part of easyJet’s involvement in UNICEF‘s ‘Change for Good’ corporate partnership, which launched in July 2012. Change for Good, which includes other airlines (American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas), has raised £53 million so far.

EasyJet has also provided a number of seats for UNICEF staff and experts on flights to Jordan.
