O2 opens its roof for charity fundraising events

Charity fundraising event organisers can now add the roof of The O2 in London to their list of venues.
They can book an exclusive session so that the roof is completely theirs, offering their participants a 360 degree view across London from a walkway suspended 52m above ground level. Exclusive sessions include a dedicated climb guide, personalised video greeting and a team video package.
The ‘Up at The O2’ experience costs from £500 for an exclusive group of 15 climbers.

Jennie Double, event sales director at The O2, said: "Charities are looking for different opportunities to raise funds and an ascent of The O2 has to be up there. The great thing about this challenge is the fact that it is less scary than some other activities and therefore will have the draw of a larger audience and abilities."
