Northern Rock Foundation moves to invitation only bids

Howard Lake | 31 January 2013 | News

Northern Rock Foundation will close its current grant programmes at the end of 2014, completing the Foundation’s current five year strategy in 2015.

Until then the Foundation will invest in the grant programmes but will narrow their focus to assist organisations to become more resilient. It will no longer accept applications for funding but will instead invite organisations with which it has already worked or which it has funded to make bids for funding.

The Foundation will increase its support for the Fresh Ideas Fund which is designed to help charities to grow, explore new ways of generating income and achieve greater impact.
