Action for Children Christmas Appeal 2012

Action for Children has issued a Christmas appeal in response to their contacts with an an increasing number of parents who are struggling to feed their children.
The appeal asks for a donation of £10 which “could pay for a week of hot meals for a hungry child”
The message works well by contrasting a decorated Christmas table, laid out with plenty of food to go round, with the same table as all the food and decorations are removed, leaving it empty.

It comes two weeks after a most positive video about Christmas which features a group of children who use the charity’s services:
