Mind creates its own in memoriam fundraising website

Mental health charity Mind has launched ‘Memory Space’, a new website dedicated to in memoriam fundraising.
The site has been designed and developed by digital communications agency Chameleon. It allows supporters to create their own web pages in memory of a loved one. They can add stories, pictures and videos to give friends and family a chance to share memories.
Visitors to the page can make donations in memory of the loved one through donations or event sponsorship.
Mind has promoted in memoriam giving in the past, but mostly offline and using Virgin Money Giving.
Caroline Corr, Head of Public Fundraising at Mind said: “We had noticed a growing demand from our supporters for ways they could fundraise for Mind as a tribute to someone they have lost, so wanted to create an easy to use, bespoke space where this could be done.
At launch the site had 45 active Memory Spaces.
