£90,000,000 windfall for the top management at Wood Mackenzie

The Edinburgh-based energy, mining and metals research group, Wood Mackenzie has changed hands in a billion pound deal that will trigger a £90,000,000 windfall for its top management. The average pay-out is expected to be around £250,000.
The Scotsman reported that the firm’s eight-strong management team, (led by ceo Stephen Halliday and chairman Paul Gregory), is in line for a major slice of the £90,000,000. They will remain with the business following the deal, which is expected to be completed by the end of August 2012.
