People's Postcode Trust's funding round closes this week

The current round of funding from the People’s Postcode Trust, the grantmaking charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, closes for applications at 17.00 on 25 May 2012.
All community groups, sports clubs and registered charities can apply for funding from £500 up to £2,000. Registered charities can apply for up to £10,000. Projects must last for no longer than three months and must be completed within six months of receiving the grant payment.
So far People’s Postcode Lottery players have raised over £17.1 million for charities across Britain so far, and the Trust has funded 748 projects so far. These include sports coaching for children and young people and providing enhanced facilities for community allotments.
