Howard Lake | 17 May 2012 | News

BT’s Internet Rangers School Awards are now open for entries. They aim to recognise individual children up to the age of sixteen, teachers and schools who can demonstrate that they have used their ICT skills to help an older person get online.
Individuals can win an iPad together with £100 worth of IT vouchers and secondary schools can win up to £4,000. This year there is a new awards category just for primary schools. A winning primary/middle school will receive £3,000 and two runner-up schools will each receive a cash prize of £2,500.
The teachers who submit the entries for each of the winning schools will also win £250 cash.
Applications must be received by 17.30 on 2 November 2012.
