CRUK invites new fundraising ideas in student competition

Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is inviting students and young people aged 18 and over to come up with and implement an innovative fundraising idea. The Go.Give.Gain competition is aimed at those who “want to use their passion and entrepreneurship to make a real difference to the work of Cancer Research UK”.
The winner will receive “an exclusive three week placement at Cancer Research UK or another major UK company”. CRUK suggests that the competition is an opportunity to gain fundraising experience for young people’s CVs will actually generating funds for cancer research.


The competition is part of CRUK’s Myprojects initiative which lets individuals set up online fundraising pages and choose which research project or which kind of cancer research they wish to fundraise for.
The closing date for entries is 31 May 2012.
