Pell & Bales offers 21 free telephone fundraising campaigns

Telephone fundraising agency Pell & Bales is offering to run 21 campaigns for charities at no charge. It hopes that charities will use the opportunity to test new applications for telephone fundraising.
The company is marking 21 years of fundraising and the achievement of raising over £1 billion for charity.
Bethan Holloway, Group Account Director at Pell & Bales, explained: “Today the phone is being used for much more than recruiting and converting donors onto Direct Debit. We are seeing an increase in donor stewardship and loyalty campaigns, and in the phone being used as a vehicle to enhance event fundraising: to lift registration, sponsorship values and sponsorship returner rates. It is also playing a big role in two-stage recruitment to Direct Debit, with prospects being generated firstly via SMS or Donor-get-Donor initiatives.”
She added: “What makes things even more exciting this year is our recent investment in new technology, integrating SMS, email and inbound calling with our traditional outbound calling for the first time. We want to offer charities the chance to be involved in these new areas and offer the sector the benefit of our learning.”
Charities interested in receiving one of the 21 free campaigns should contact Bethan Holloway by 16 March, explaining why they would like to be involved and the type of telephone campaign they may be interested in.
