Nominate your top swimming fundraiser for Kellogg's ASA Swimtastic Awards 2011

Howard Lake | 18 August 2011 | News

The Kellogg’s ASA Swimtastic Awards 2011 once again include a Fundraising Award for the best example of person who has actively helped to raise money in and around the swimming community for charities. If your charity has such a fundraiser, you can enter them now for the award.
Last year the gold award in this category was won by Mia Stillwell and five of her friends, all of whom were under five at the time. Team Mia raised more than £500 after swimming 33 lengths between them in an hour as part of the Isle of Wight Lions Club Swimathon. They raised money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and St Mary’s Children’s Hospital.
Nominations close on 11 September 2011.
The ASA is the English National Governing Body for Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Open Water, and Synchronised Swimming. The awards are, however, open to people across the UK.
