Institute's National Convention wins conference award

The Institute of Fundraising’s National Convention 2010 has won the award for Best Association Conference at The Conference Awards last week.
Other shortlisted entries in the category include the British Bankers Association Annual International Banking Conference, 44th annual IATEFL Conference & Exhibition, and Trade Association Best Practice Exchange.
Representatives from the Institute received the award from journalist, broadcaster and former Conservative Party politician and Cabinet Minister Michael Portillo.
Ruth Moore, Head of Events at the Institute of Fundraising, said: “As the association for UK fundraisers, we’re very proud to have been recognised as delivering an outstanding event for our members and the whole of the sector”.
This year’s National Convention takes place from 4-6 July 2011 at the Hilton London Metropole.
