BT Community Connections 2011 offers a year's free broadband to groups

Howard Lake | 17 June 2011 | News

BT is inviting voluntary organisations to apply to its BT Community Connections award scheme to be in with a chance to receive one year’s free broadband access.
BT Community Connections scheme aims to bridge the digital divide by making it easier for community and charitable organisations in the UK to get online.
If your group helps the community access the internet and improves people’s ICT skills, you could be eligible to apply for a year’s free broadband. You need to have a BT business landline in order to receive the free broadband, but if you have a BT residential line, you will be able to switch to a business landline for free.
Previous award winners are eligible to apply.
The closing date for applications is 17.30 on 15 September 2011.
