Meningitis Trust launches 25th anniversary appeal to raise £25k

The Meningitis Trust has launched a 25th anniversary appeal to raise £25,000 so that it can reach out to more people who need its support.

The Trust, which says that it is “the world’s largest meningitis charity”, has sent out a fundraising appeal to donors featuring a letter from its Chief Executive with the heading “together we’ve given 25 years to helping people after meningitis, can you give 25 pounds to help us continue?” It acknowledges that “£25 doesn’t buy much these days”, but a modest amount given by a large amount of people can result in “truly great life-changing outcomes for those who really need them”.

The appeal also includes a flyer which has five case studies showing how these ‘joined’ funds can make a difference.
