Grantmakers Online – free database

Chapel & York has launched an interesting looking new product. Grantmakers Online is a free interactive database of (6,000+) grant-makers from around the world. Chapel & York describes Grantmakers Online as “a philanthropic community, powered by its users who can share what they know and benefit from other people’s sharing”. It’s free and will remain free if you participate.
You have to pay to download the results of your search. They will tell you the cost, after you tell them what you want.
Even a quick look at the database of UK based trusts shows some that are not listed on, for example, trustfunding. [Other databases are available…]
The search function is not as detailed as trustfunding, but it could be worth a rummage.
