Oxfam launches international student challenge event

Howard Lake | 6 May 2011 | News

Oxfam GB has announced a new international student challenge event. Ride & Seek is a sponsored four-day InterRail treasure hunt that will take teams of four to four mystery European destinations in summer 2011.
From 27 June – 1 July 2011, teams from universities across the UK will race from city to city across Europe, seeking treasure, cracking cryptic clues and completing challenges in the shortest possible time, and raising funds for Oxfam.
The team that collects the most points will win the grand prize and be crowned Oxfam Ride & Seek winners 2011.
Oxfam is charging £580 for each person participating. This consists of an entry fee of £85 on registration, followed by a second payment of a minimum of £495. This breaks down into a mandatory £175 to cover the InterRail ticket and other costs, and a minimum fundraising pledge of £320.
All places for this year’s event have already been booked.
