Capital FM looks for national charity of the year

95-106 Capital FM is looking for a charity partner to benefit from its networked fundraising activities. Capital, part of Global Radio, recently launched in eight new regions outside of London including Manchester, North East, Yorkshire, East Midlands, South Wales, Birmingham, Scotland and South Coast. Its charity, Help a Capital Child, has started a tender process for a charity partner.
Capital FM looking for a national charity partner who is able to demonstrate that they work on a truly local level, specifically in the areas where Capital transmits.
The beneficiary partner will benefit from an on-air fundraising appeal in addition to other activity throughout the year with an aim to raise over £200,000.
The deadline for full proposals is midnight on 14 April 2011.
