Scottish Charity Awards 2011 open for entries

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is inviting entries from charities, community groups and dedicated local champions to this year’s Scottish Charity Awards.
The Awards are now in their fifth year, and aim to celebrate the best of Scotland’s local organisations. They are open to any charity, voluntary organisation, community group or individual charity volunteer or staff member. Public and private sector bodies can also enter through the partnership award.
This year the categories are:
* Charity of the Year
* Campaign of the Year
* Partnership Award
* Community Action Award
* Charity Champion Award
The deadline for entries is 8 April 2011. The winners will be announced on 16 June 2001.
