Howard Lake | 24 February 2011 | News

St Dunstan’s, the charity that provides lifelong support to blind Service and ex-Service personnel, has announced a new UK challenge event, a 50-mile walk in 24 hours from London to Brighton.
Over 200 people are expected to take part in the challenge, and raise an estimated £100,000.
The event starts in Richmond, London on Saturday 11 June and continue through the night as participants walk along footpaths across Surrey, finishing at the St Dunstan’s centre in Ovingdean, Brighton.
Denise Yeats, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at St Dunstan’s, said: “We’re looking for teams of up to six people to take part in the 100k London to Brighton Challenge, making it an excellent team building event or a new event for those wanting to take on a new challenge”.
