Financial information specialists CaritasData has published a new edition of its guide to the UK’s largest charities by income. The 19th edition of The Top 3000 Charities features key financial and contact information for all the charities listed, plus information on their financial performance and activities.
Each profile contains up to five years of financial information broken down by income, expenditure, and assets or funds. It lists the charity’s aims and areas of charitable activity, and flags up whether they are a grant-making charity.
It also lists trustees and senior executives “where available”, and provides details of which professional advisers that the charity uses, such as banks, auditors, solicitors, property advisers, and investment managers.
The Top 3000 Charities also lists over 500 large corporate donors. These are listed on the London Stock Exchange and have all given at least £1,000 to charities in the UK.
The book also features a geographical index of charities by region, and a table listing the top 2,000 charities ranked by income and funds.
The Top 300 Charities 2011/2012 costs £280 but charities qualify for a 50% discount price of £1240.
