Annot8 offers charities slice of online advertising revenue
New online advertising platform annot8 is helping charities generate a share of income from their supporters’ web activities. Users browse the web with the annot8 plug-in installed, which shows adverts and content relevant to the page they are viewing. If the user clicks on an advert, the company shares its revenue with them at the rate of 1p per click. Four charities are currently listed for participants to support.
Annot8 point out that online advertising is growing rapidly with £38 billion spent last year.

He added “we share up to 55% of our revenues”. He said that charities with a supporter base of between 500 and 1000 using annot8 on a daily basis could expect to earn between £5,000 and £220,000 per year”.
