Network and communications service provider telent has now raised over £515,000 for the NSPCC over the past 10 years.
The half a million pound mark was reached following fundraising events by telent staff, customers and suppliers, including busking trips round Europe and London Marathon runs, plus many local events like cake sales and raffles.
Many telent employees have also chosen to give tax-efficiently from their salary by payroll giving.
NSPCC Director of fundraising, Paul Amadi welcomed telent to the group of ‘Guardian’ supporters within the NSPCC Family supporter community. “It’s a phenomenal achievement”, he said, “and all the funds raised have allowed the NSPCC to continue its vital work of helping to end cruelty to children.”
Telent is a privately-held company which employs approximately 2,500 people and has annual revenues of around £300 million.
