Funding the Future attracts four government ministers and major funders as speakers

Howard Lake | 6 January 2011 | News

The ninth annual ‘Funding the Future’ conference will be held at Central Hall Westminster and the QE2 conference centre on 8 March. Run by Action Planning in partnership with ACEVO, CFDG, CAF and Big Lottery Fund, the event lets senior charity and voluntary sector staff hear from government ministers and leading statutory, lottery and trust funders.
This year there are 50 speakers addressing a morning plenary session followed by a choice of eight concurrent streams to ensure charities meet funders interested in their field of work.
Four Government Ministers will be speaking – Secretary of State for Culture, the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP; the Minister for Civil Society, Nick Hurd MP, the Children’s Minister, Tim Loughton MP; and the Employment Minister, Chris Grayling MP.
