New Director of Fundraising at Teacher Support Network

Teacher Support Network has appointed Jackie Ball as its new Director of Fundraising. She joins the organisation after four years as Director of Finance, Marketing and Fundraising at the British Polio Fellowship and a variety of earlier roles in the finance, marketing and retails sectors as well as being the Advertising Sales and Promotions Manager for seven UK airports.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “I believe that everything I have learnt to date in my career will be put to very good use, as we seek to increase the levels of earned income and donations the charity requires to continue the its very important mission, namely to support teachers and lecturers in times of need and to improve the their health, effectiveness and wellbeing.”
Group Chief Executive Julian Stanley said: “We are all looking forward to working with her so that we can further develop the depth and breath of our work and reach many more of our target group – be that to provide telephone and online support, counselling, information, research and policy materials or grants for those in need.”
Originally the Teachers’ Benevolent Fund, Teacher Support Network is a group of charities dedicated to improving the wellbeing and effectiveness of training, serving and retired teachers and other education professionals.
