Prospect Researchers need to get out and about more

Howard Lake | 28 September 2010 | Blogs

I will be in Birmingham and Edinburgh over the next week or so. It’s good to be discussing prospect research outside London. However, I will be tempted to make a visit to London in October as I have just found out that The British Library has a most interesting looking event lined up. Growing Knowledge: The Evolution of Research is a new exhibition that “explores the use and value of digital technologies to support researchers”. Growing Knowledge will “showcase innovative and cutting edge tools, technologies, projects and services, all brought together in a multimedia, interactive and inspirational space”. Researchers and visitors are invited to join the debate and tell The British Library what you think about these tools and technologies, and the services you want to experience from the library of the future.
I think that might be worth a visit. It runs from 12 October 2010 – 16 July 2011.
