Shelagh Paterson has been appointed as Head of Fundraising at Little Hearts Matter, the charity that supports the 600 or so children born each year in the UK with only half a functioning heart.
Previously Head of Corporate Partnerships at Age UK (formerly Age Concern England and Help the Aged), Paterson has also headed up legacies and high value donor teams. Before entering the charity sector, Shelagh worked for the Financial Times Reports, responsible for sales within the Asia Pacific region.
At Little Hearts she has been tasked with identifying and focusing on generating funds from new income streams.
