InstaGiv blogs on mobile fundraising

InstaGiv, the mobile donation solutions provider, has launched a mobile fundraising blog with news, comment, case studies and ideas on how charities can use mobile fundraising products.
Following the creation of separate charity short codes, removal of VAT and the recent announcement that Vodafone and O2 will both pass on 100% of text donations, the blog is designed to inform and connect the growing community of charity mobile marketers.
David Hoy, Marketing manager at instaGiv, said: “The most enjoyable aspect at being at the forefront of a new fundraising wave is the incredible creativity we are seeing at work. The mixing of traditional tried and trusted techniques with new channels to come up with vibrant campaigns that have such real reach, impact and vitality is exciting.
“A recent example of this was the Pedigree Adoption Drive that blended Featured print articles with award winning art installations and backed up with an online campaign that spanned multiple networks and ended up with over 28,000 fans on Facebook and over 150,000 views of the campaign videos on Youtube.”
InstaGiv is a charity- specific mobile marketing and technology provider covering the whole of the UK which launched a suite of mobile fundraising products at the Institute of Fundraising National Convention.
