Three board members and a Fellow

The Institute of Fundraising wants to recruit three new board members and to receive nominations for Fellowship of the Institute.
One of the three trustees is required to represent Northern Ireland. The membership body’s CEO Lindsay Boswell told members today in an email: “It is more about genuinely wanting to make a difference to the issues that face fundraisers”.
Nominations are open until midday on Friday 28 May 2010, after which candidates will be proposed for election by membership vote.

Fellowship is recognition, by other fundraisers and the rest of the sector, of those who have made a major contribution to the profession as well as to the Institute. Boswell said: “If you know someone who deserves this honour, then please email Deborah Goulden before 7 June with a short paragraph outlining their achievements”.
